Balanced Scorecard

The Align360 Balanced Scorecard is a tremendously powerful tool you can use to ensure your strategic direction is employed in your daily operations, accelerating your business results. Drawn from your top-level strategy, we develop a specific set of objectives and performance measures in four key areas of analysis that act as an ongoing barometer for the effectiveness of your strategy.

Our activities first focus on taking your vision and goals and translating them into meaningful, actionable objectives. These objectives are aligned with, and supportive of, the strategy and are linked to the key perspectives of the scorecard-financial, customer, process, and organizational enabler. The process of defining these objectives serves to either confirm that the necessary objectives have been identified or to identify gaps in the strategy and objectives.

Once completed, this framework is your Performance Model. The Performance Model then serves as an effective tool to both communicate your strategy and objectives, as well as measure your performance toward those goals.

Below is a diagram of how the Balanced Scorecard is built using the different perspectives within an organization.

*Each perspective uses its own Objectives, Measures, and Initiatives.
